In this blog, I will explain how to create Incident templates and also how to create incidents from an existing template.
To start with, let me explain the steps to be followed in order to create Incident Templates.
Note: Only support team consultants can create Incident templates using SOLMANPRO Business role.
Step 1:
Login into SAP Solution Manager system and run transaction SM_CRM as shown in below screenshot.
Step 2:
Select the business role. Here in order to create incident templates, select the appropriate business role i.e. ZSOLMANPRO( customized Business role)
Step 3:
Click on IT Service Management and select create Incident template, as highlighted in the below screenshot
Step 4:
In this step, enter the necessary fields for the template as shown in the example below
After entering all necessary fields in the template, click on save button. The incident template gets created with unique template Id.
So, now this template is can be used to create new incidents by end users and I will explain how to create incidents from incident template in my next blog.
